Three :06s in a row. Weird. I'm so totally tired, and I feel a long blog coming on. Whheeee. I have so much to blog about. For the last 24 hours I've been having fun with my new smilies for MSN that Meli gave me. Thanks! They're so much fun. I'm still using them non stop. I have also realised I love Jpop. And Ayu. And Hitomi Yaida. Yay. There, it's out in the open!
I'm very upset about not being at camp this year. It's so weird to be upset over something as stupid as camp, but here I am upset over it. I've gone to that camp every year since it's opened. Mini-U at Mac made Mike what Mike is (Woah Edward!), and this year I couldn't go because of conflicting schedules. I was gone for the first two sessions of the camp, and I came back the monday that marked the start of the third session. Which meant I missed it. And I'm gone the second half of the fourth and final session. Stupid cruise. I've been wanted to just go and visit because I know like all of the councellors, but I feel really really weird about it. I blame the rope and window! They're out to get me, it's a giant conspiracy.
I want a subrsciption to White Dwarf. There, it's decided. Now to go and get a subscription! I want it just to read the fictional stuff about the Warhammer 40K universe. Like, what the heck is a machine spirit. I know they pray to their emperor and bless it in his name, and I know the Emperor has psychic powers (and is a sicko too, he kills of hundreds of people a day for their souls so that he can keep live - and it's totally based on the Christian Church. Twisted), but I didn't think blessing it in his name would be like praying to a God. I know their's machine gods, and spirits. Are these spirits actuall spirits in the machines, is it like some giant AI control center, or is it all superstition? I asked Barone, but he couldn't help me. I also want it for the battle reports *grins*.
Oooh D&D. That's what I did today. I went to Comic Connection to get my WH40K paints (and found a crazy Japanese restaurant I want to try) and I reread my D&D stuff. Have to refamiliarize myself with the rules again. I found out there is a difference between 3.0 and 3.5, but from what I saw it's not a big difference. It just looks more advanced, with extra prestige classes. Which sucks, because the prestige class I wanted (Archmage) is in the 3.5 rules, and the Forgotten Realms campaign. So I guess it's in the 3.0 rules too, I'm just not sure if I'd be able to do it in Jess' sister's campaign.
I started rolling for my character today, and wound up with really really good stats for what I wanted. I've decided to be a Chaotic Nuetral Elf (possibly Sun Elf, if they exsist in the campaign) Wizard (possibly Archmage presitge class). Stats would be: STR 10, +0; DEX 16, +3; CON 13, +1; INT 18, +4; WIS 13, +1; CHA 16, +3. Love the intelligence score, and the charisma? Well, he's charming. He's also somehow wound up with a Drow friend. That's going to be interesting. I'm going to have to check with the Elf-Drow conflict history. I should be able to get past it though, because the character is the exact same Eluamos Nailo that was in Dark Age of Camelot, only now he's in a different world, and not Avalonian (he's still the oldest of 8 kids, a spellcrafter; all of the brothers are going to be the closest equivilant to the same Camelot class and trade skill). There's so many possibilities for him!
I wonder if I'll be joining halfway through the capmaign? That would work even better. It would be something like adding Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky 4th to the Cowboy Bebop series. A totally random adding of a useful individual who has the same personality traits as Mike. I wonder if they're going to let him keep the nickname. I mean, it will be easier than saying Eluamos (I'm still not 100% sure how to pronounce it - but I can say it in my head now, so it's a start), and it's not like I gave him the name myself - it was given to him. You know what else would be fun? D&D with the Honour Guinevere group. Tee hee!
After my serious contemplation about D&D and WH40K, I went to Morganti's house for a DDR party. It was me, Marta, him, Stef and Meatballs. Meatballs DDRs now! It's crazy. These STA people are a bad influence on us! DDR, Blogs, DDR parties, crazy parties! Wowzers! We ended up going out to Pizza Pizza, and BAskin Robins and McDonalds. Then we watched Ghost Ship. Bah. I hate scary movies. But it was ok, because I fell asleep, and when I wasn't asleep, Dave and I were being babies, but still calling everything that happened in the whole movie. Stupid movie.
Now we have to have another party tomorrow so Mel, Josh, Heather, Alex and Dan can come. You know what I just noticed. I didn't like Morganti to his blog. I could have, but he doesn't blog anymore. A lot of people don't blog and all my links are going away. Nick didn't blog, Rob's blog was a big joke to make fun of Nick, Alyssa doesn't blog anymore, Natasha doesn't blog anymore, and Kristen's blog got all wierd. But I have a new blog from a friend. I don't think I'm going to link Robyn, but I can at least read it now. Robyn, next time when you feel like calling someone up and saying let's go out to dinner, TAKE ME! TAKE ME! I'm always hungry. Well, it's true. Mmm food. I feel like food right now. So I'm going to get some!
Note the new additions to the t o d a y and b a s i c sections!
Thanks!
Mike.
