Originally there was a list of 5 countries that were said to be targets for terrorist attacks. Four of them have already been hit: United States, Australia, Spain and the United Kingdom. There's only one country left. Three guesses which country it is.

eh, I never said we were immune. I just don't think it's likely:
1) We have no specific landmarks that will result in ridiculous amounts of deaths like the other countries on "the list" do.
2) Canadian aggressiveness in the wars are not as significant as other countries.
It doesn't make sense for al Qaeada to do anything to Canada, because, honestly, the world doesn't really give a shit about Canada. Whereas it may be "Headline news: Empire State building floored by terrorist attacks!" or "Trafalgar Square massacre!", a Canadian attack would be something along the lines of "Two people injured in a park from terrorist attacks. In other news, Brian Burke doesn't want to sign Mike Babcock." The "unf" isn't there. They're doing this to send a message, and attacking Canada achieves very little of that purpose.
It could happen, of course, but it's just not likely to.
Toronto as a city is the 5th most populous city in Northa America, nevermind it's suburbs. And let's be honest, as soon as Oakville Transit gets on that 'One Monthly Pass' thing, the Ontario government is going to almagamate everything from Oakville or Burlington, up to Vaughan, and out to Ajax and make Toronto even bigger again.
The attacks in London didn't kill as many people as the other terrorist attacks, but that doesn't matter. It's not about killing people; it's about showing they can. It's always been about that. IF they had wanted to kill people, they would have slammed the planes into the WTF sometime around lunch when the buildings were packed. They would have targeted bigger things to get at Australia, Spain and the UK. The attacks are to make people afraid to go about their daily lives, not about killing people, which is why Canada is still a perfect target.
Don't fool yourself, there are tons of viable targets in Canada. Which makes me wonder. What ever happened to those Pakistani kids who were trying to get/managed to get the schematics for the CN Tower.
I have almonds stuck in my teeth.
Yeah, definitely agreeing with Mike there.
It's pretty scary T__T
Mike, what are you talking about Oakville Transit "One Monthly Pass" thing?
Starting 2007 GO Transit, TTC and Missisauga Tranist are joining a pilot program that allows people to buy one montly pass and use it on all of the services, instead of buying multiple monthly passes. It's expected to be fully functional by 2010, and to have one montly pass for transit in every city along the GO Transit Service lines.
Whoa. That's fweakin cool.
IT'S A HUNDRED!! SHUT IT OFF!!!!
