The Mike Haddad Show: This is relevant to my interests.

Today they aired back to back episodes of Canadian Idol. I had my heart broken when Noel went home. I sat through two hours of television tonight, which is far more television than I'd ever watch under normal circumstances, with the sole hope of seeing something sweet. Now that the episode has aired I'm sure I'm almost legally allowed to say it now too. Nancy made it like super far through! Didn't watch? Well you suck. I'll sum it up for you. There were a lot of shitty guys, plus one pretty one who can sing, plus one not so pretty one who can sing, plus one pretty one who can't sing anything other than bar rock but will make it far because he's pretty. There were a lot of girls who were much more talented.

I sat through two hours waiting to see Nancy's auditions. I waited to see her get through the first cut. They showed 30 seconds and said that she was the best they'd seen all day. I'd heard the horror stories about her group audition and was SO excited for it. Nada. They skipped past it. Same with her duet. BUT! They did show her final audition, which rocked. What did they say when she left. That she was the best they'd seen. Yes, I'm totally leeching off her fame and I can deal with that - only because she's so fucking awesome. I told my mother that she's to expect a HUGE phone bill every month until the show is over because I’m going to keep voting until I can't vote anymore. Go go gadget Nansizzle!
